Velatura is let as one house, to one party of up to twelve guests. Rates are per night for the whole villa, VAT included, and every stay comes with breakfast, housekeeping and Chiara.

The price is the same whether there are two of you or twelve. Prices are in euro and include VAT; the tourist tax of the Comune di Pienza is added to your final bill.

05Booking and payment

The full terms of stay are on their own page. These are the parts people ask about first.
- To confirmA 30% deposit, by bank transfer or card, once you have signed the booking form.
- The balanceDue 60 days before you arrive. Bookings made closer to the date are paid in full.
- Security deposit€3,000, held on a card a week before arrival and released within seven days of departure.
- If you cancelMore than 90 days before arrival we refund everything but a €500 handling fee. After that the deposit is kept, and within 60 days the full price is due unless we let the dates again.
- ArrivingFrom 16:00 on the day of arrival; departure by 10:00. Italian law asks us to register every guest’s identity document on arrival.
- Tourist taxCharged per person per night at the rate the Comune di Pienza sets each year, and added to your final bill.
